Our Leadership

Pastor Ken has served as Lead Pastor of Village Chapel since November 2020. With more than 40 years of ministry experience, he has served as a lead pastor and church planter, helping launch two churches along the way. His greatest passion is developing leaders and equipping the church to live out Village Chapel's vision, mission, and values through leadership development and discipleship. Ken has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 44 years, and together they have four grown children and eight grandchildren. Outside of ministry, he enjoys basketball, pickleball, fly fishing, biking, and is the author of two books.

Jeff has served as Associate Pastor at Village Chapel since its beginning in 2012 and has more than 30 years of ministry experience. Throughout his ministry, he has served as a deacon and in financial leadership. One of his main passions is Quest and Man Camp, where he serves on the ministry team and helps facilitate these opportunities to invest in and encourage others in their faith.
Jeff is also involved in the teaching ministries at VC, including Life Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, Senior Adult Ministry, and others throughout the church. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Donna, for 32 years. They have two grown children, Taylor and Abby, and three grandchildren, Stella, Rowen, and Brooks. Outside of ministry, Jeff loves spending time with his family and fishing.

Pastor Aaron has served on staff at Village Chapel since 2021 and currently serves as Youth and Outreach Pastor. He began his ministry journey in 1997 as a youth pastor intern and has since served in a variety of ministry roles. Aaron is passionate about youth ministry and outreach. He loves working with students because they are honest, real, and the future of the church, and he enjoys finding creative ways to share the gospel through outreach. Aaron has been married to his high school sweetheart for 25 years, and they have one son, Joshua, who attends Western Carolina University. Outside of ministry, he enjoys history, reading, movies, and NC BBQ.

Tonya has served as the Kids Ministry Director at Village Chapel since 2021, where she is passionate about helping children know, love, and follow Jesus. She loves partnering with parents and creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where children can build a strong foundation of faith and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Tonya holds a Children’s Ministry Certification through the International Network of Children’s Ministry (INCM) and Bethel Seminary and continues to pursue ministry education. Tonya has been married to her husband, Greg, for 44 years. They have two children, two daughters-in-law, and two grandsons. Outside of ministry, she enjoys making memories with her family, camping, and creating in her “She Shed.” She also loves spending time with her two dogs and four hermit crabs. Tonya considers it a privilege to serve Village Chapel families and invest in the next generation of Christ followers.

Donna serves as Worship Director at Village Chapel, a role she stepped into in 2025 after serving in the music ministry since the church’s beginning. With previous experience as an Assistant Music Director and Children’s Music Director, Donna is passionate about creating a culture of worship throughout every ministry of the church and instilling a heart of worship in the next generation. Donna has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff, for 32 years, and they have two grown children and three grandchildren. Outside of church, she loves spending time with family, planning fun activities, and enjoying the beach.

Abby joined the Village Chapel staff as the Administrative Assistant in 2023 before stepping into the role of Creative Director in 2025. She is passionate about finding creative ways to communicate what God is doing at VC while making sure everything the church creates feels welcoming and intentional. Abby has been married to her husband, Noah, for 4 years, and they have a son, Brooks. Outside of church, she is a real estate agent and the owner of CRU Boutique, a women’s fashion boutique. Abby's favorite things to do are traveling and spending time with family.

Nash joined the Village Chapel staff in 2025 as Production Coordinator. He is currently studying Cybersecurity and Networking and has always had a passion for technology, troubleshooting, and finding creative solutions to problems. In his role, Nash especially enjoys solving challenges and finding ways to enhance the church’s live streams and overall production. Outside of church, Nash also owns a small business at Depot at Gibson Mill, where he deals in antique and vintage items. In his free time, he enjoys collecting old signs and vintage display pieces.
